Hedaya Malak Wins Gold Medal at Egypt Taekwondo Open

CAIRO, Feb.24 (SEE)- Hedaya Malak won the gold medal in the Taekwondo International tournament held in Egypt. Malak earned first place by defeating her German opponent Venesia Korndl 11-6 in the final of the under 67 kg weight class. Malak qualified to the final after defeated Jordanian Champion Julliana Sadek 6-3.

On the other hand, Egyptian champion Abdelrahman Wael won the bronze medal in the same Championship after losing to Spanish champion Gaffia Bolo 19-6 in the under 68 kg weight class.
